An appeal for support from the members of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of F&AM of the Philippines (WMs, DDGMs, PMs, PDDGMs, incumbent and past Grand Line Officers).
Fraternal greetings brethren!
For almost two years now, we, the brethren of this Grand Jurisdiction, are still in the dark on the real root causes(s) of the schism of several Lodges in the Province of Cavite which led to the creation of the Independent Grand Lodge of the Philippine Island (IGLPI).
No formal investigation/inquiry was ever conducted nor the real root cause(s) ever made known formally to the brethren. This resulted in speculations, hearsay and unpleasant exchange of remarks which is unhealthy and which does not speak well of a fraternity or a brotherhood such as ours.
The theme, “Harmony, the Strength and Beauty of Masonry”, of our Grand Master, MW Pacifico B. Aniag, is enough proof of his sincerity and enthusiasm to bring back “Harmony” in our Grand Jurisdiction…”Harmony” we all once enjoyed.
I have initiated an effort by members of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of F&AM of the Philippines (WM, PM, DDGM, PDDGM, incumbent and past Grand Line Officers) for the creation of a Grand Committee to investigate/evaluate the root cause(s) of this unfortunate event in Philippine Masonry. The Grand Committee’s findings, recommendation(s) and/or decision to be made known formally to the Brethren and finally put to rest this particular issue.
I am appealing to the members of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of F&AM of the Philippines to support this effort and let us help our Grand Master in his quest for “Harmony” in this Grand Jurisdiction.
Please find attached the letter to our Grand Master. Please print copies of the same and help me get as much number of members of the GLP to support this effort.
Likewise, may I request that original copies with signatures be sent to me by mail on or before June 30, 2008 at the below address for consolidation and ultimate submission personally to our Grand Master.
